Well, my favorite Thanksgiving food would have to be a tie between Yams and Stuffing. I love how yams have brown sugar and a sweet taste, and Stuffing is just so.... good.

I LOVE thanks-giving. I eat turkey, mashed potatoes, corn bread, anything I can put on my plate. My absolute favorite is this pink stuff my grandma makes. It has oranges and other things in it. I sometimes call it, truffala. Like the truffala trees in the Lorax.

My aunt makes something called pink stuff too! She said it's mostly made of whip cream, cherries, and other kinds of fruit.
DeleteI'd have to say my favorite thanksgiving food is the stuffing or the green bean casserole my grandma makes! She makes the best. We all love working together on thanksgiving morning. getting up and smelling the turkey cooking at the crack of dawn is just a special experience here. Then waiting as family arrives one by one, just being able to see the lived ones that you never see is something I hold dear. Then sitting down finally to a long table full of the food we've prepared, people chatting happily, the aroma of the turkey, and the prayer of thanks to God before the meal. He is the one who has blessed us and he is the one who saves us, all thanks should be given to Him. He alliwed the pilgrims to land on American soil and start the growth if a new nation. God be praised.
ReplyDeleteAfter our meal, we all retreat to our living room couch and wait eagerly for the soft pumpkin pie to be served. As the sun sets, we all look over the land of America, the beautiful land, and remember the brave men and women, past and present, who've fought for it.
I'm a carnivore through and through, so I think my favorite thanksgiving food is definitely turkey! Second place goes to cashew pie! ~SparkleFootball

Stuffing is my personal favorite Thanksgiving food.
ReplyDeleteTo start off, nothing beats making stuffing for Thanksgiving dinner! I watch as my mom puts the ingredients in a casserol pan. When I see the oven turn on, I know it potentially could be stuffing being cooked! I could just imagine the heat inside the oven.
Next, when the big dinner comes, I love to secretly breathe in the aroma of this mouthwatering food! Whenever I smell stuffing, any tense muscles in my body start to relax. I literally almost feel like drooling when I smell it! Memories start to drift back to me when I smell stuffing.
Lastly, whenever I eat stuffing, my body fills with joy. The stuffing is simply delicious! The stuffing is also very soft, mushy, and easy to chew. My favorite Thanksgiving food is always at my favorite temperature- warm!
In conclusion, I think stuffing is a very wonderful choice of food on Thanksgiving because it's fun to make, it smells awesome, and it tastes delicious!
