I realize it may sound "boring". However, it is useful and interesting. This page is very helpful if you are just starting your journey in Jamaa, so you can use it as a starter's guide.

Achievement - /noun/ an accomplishment earned by a jammer through completing tasks. Click here to see a full list of Achievements.

Adventure - /noun/ an journey with objectives to complete individually or with a team up to 4. Click here to see a complete Adventure Guide.

Alpha - /noun/ an elite team of leaders that defeat phantoms. The team consists of Liza (Panda), Sir Gilbert (Tiger), Greely (Wolf), Peck (Bunny), Graham (Monkey), and Cosmo (Koala).

Beta Days - /noun/ a period of testing to see if Animal Jam worked. Many items came out that are rare today. Visit the Beta Party today!

Blu the Monkey - /noun/ the Animal Jam Sky Blog's Comic Book series. Every week a new issue, or comic book, is released about the main character known as Blu the Monkey. See the Comic Book issues.

Cosmo - /noun the Koala Alpha that loves plants. See his full profile on the Alphas Page.

Coming Soon - /noun/ a hint on the blog that gives insight on something new coming soon.

Daily Explorer - /noun/ the Animal Jam Headquarters Blog. See the Daily Explorer.

Diamond - /noun/ the most expensive money currency in Jamaa that can be obtained through memberships, codes, swapping with gems, and the daily spin.

Discover Day - /noun/ Weekly Mini-Contest, where an image of Jamaa is shown, and players must guess where the image was taken. The winner has to get the answer correct and has to be randomly chosen to receive a prize.

Epic Sky Den - /noun/ a segment on the Animal Jam Sky Blog where a den is featured for a cool idea. The dens are put in the Epic Sky Dens Hall of Fame.

Gem - /noun/ the main money currency in Jamaa that can be obtained by adventures, codes, games, recycling items, and the daily spin.

Glitch Corner - /noun/ Weekly glitch shown on the blog, that Scooter has an explanation and diagnosis for.

Item Spotlight - /noun/ Weekly specified information on a specific item in Jamaa.

Jamaa - /noun/ the world of Animal Jam.

Jamaasian - /adjective/ a word used to describe something that relates or originates from Jamaa's Past.

Journey of the Wolves - /noun/ the Animal Jam Sky Blog's Movies. This 3-part Movie Series shows a pack of wolves on the journey of their lives. Click here to watch the Movies!

Jump - /noun/ the second Animal Jam app for mobile devices that is an arcade-styled kangaroo game. This game became very popular and allows you to access pet kangaroos on Animal Jam.

Liza - /noun/ the Panda Alpha that is the introduction into Jamaa. See her profile on the Alphas Page.

Masterpiece - /noun/ a drawing on Animal Jam that can become a den item.

Masterpiece of the Week - /noun/ a segment on the Animal Jam Sky Blog that displays a weekly Masterpiece.

Mystery of the Week - /noun/ Weekly mystery that is found throughout Jamaa. They can either be solved or theorized.

Pawesome - /adjective/ a pun used in Jamaa instead of using the word "awesome".

Peck - /noun/ the Bunny Alpha that is a great artist. See her profile on the Alphas Page.

Phantom- /noun/ the black octopus-like creatures that desire to destroy Jamaa.

 

Play Wild - /noun/ the third Animal Jam app for mobile devices that allows jammers to enter a 3-D version of Jamaa. Also, these words are the slogan for Animal Jam.

Poll - /noun/ a questionnaire that can be answered by anyone, to dissolve a topic of discussion.

Rumor Reader - /noun/ a segment on the Animal Jam Sky Blog that reveals the current event rumors circling Animal Jam.

Segment - /noun/ a daily feature on the Animal Jam Sky Blog. For example: Mystery of the Week, Rumor Reader, Masterpiece of the Week, etc.

Shaman - /noun/ an old word meaning Alpha. Shamans used to be thought of as lesser Alphas, such as Biff the Hyena and Ruby the Rhino. This word is no longer used.

Ticket - /noun/ the Summer Carnival's money currency in Jamaa. They can be obtained through playing carnival games and swapping with gems.

Tunnel Town - /noun/ the first Animal Jam app available on mobile devices that allows you to breed and take care of bunnies and create your own burrow.
