Did You Know?

Since there is no Jamaa Journal today, I am bringing back this one-time segment called Did You Know? Did You Know is a segment where I tell you interesting facts about Animal Jam that you might not have known before, and today I think you probably never knew this!

Did you know that Mt. Shiveer was going to be called "Snowy Mountain Flat"?

Taylor Maw is the lead character designer for Animal Jam, and on his social media accounts, he revealed that Mt.Shiveer was going to be called "Snowy Mountain Flat". He even posted a picture of what it planned on looking like...

WOW! That looks awesome. I would have been satisfied with Snowy Mountain Flat or Mt. Shiveer. Both are such cool lands. Notice many of the same features were added to Mt. Shiveer, such as the water, frozen pond, and caves. However, look at all of the features that would have been added, including an igloo and even a yeti?!?!

Item Spotlight

Item Spotlight is the segment on the Animal Jam Sky Blog where we look at a particular item in Jamaa to analyze its rarity, popularity, and find out facts about that item.

The Item Spotlight of the Week is about Gloves...

Gloves are one of the rarest and most popular items in Jamaa. There are many variations of the glove, like the Zios Glove, but today we are specifically talking about just gloves. There are two types of gloves: the Rare Original Versions or the Non-Rare New Versions
The Rare Original Colors of Gloves are:

These have a Rare Tag, which means they are from the Beta Days, or sometime after.
The Non-Rare Original Versions of Gloves were previously for sale:

These gloves are still rare, but not as rare as the originals.
There are also special varieties of the glove including the store-bought Silver Glove in Epic Wonders and the Freedom Glove from the Freedom Party in July. The glove was introduced in the Beta Testing period back in 2010. The glove can be obtained through adventures, Sky High, and the Trading Party claw machine. Overall, even though lots of Jammers have this item, the original rare gloves are Rare in Jamaa, and are traded, especially between nonmembers, for good items.
