Hey Jammers!
I know that Dreamgirl365's 1st Post was supposed today however, there has been something more pressing on my mind.
For months now, I have been on the fence about the idea of quitting. Unfortunately, I have made this blog grow so much that is going to hurt to leave. However, my final decision is that I am leaving the Animal Jam Sky Blog.
Reasons:
1. Age. The technical age range for Animal Jam according to the Animal Jam Headquarters 12 years old is the top age that they gave players. I am way past that.
2. Busy. When you become older, you have tons of other priorities. The Animal Jam Sky Blog took up all of my time. I had to edit it all day. I had no time for sports, school, homework, family time, special events, birthdays, friends, and even time to watch my favorite TV show. It kind of took over my life.
3. Old. Unfortunately, I am not as excited for Animal Jam, then when I was 3 years ago.
With those 3 important reasons, I have to leave the Blog.

Positive:
Enough about the sad information, lets talk about the positive things:
-I will be on Animal Jam for 46 More Days, until my membership runs out.
-I will still be doing Blu the Monkey ever Sunday and Wednesday for 46 More Days.
-I will check back here ever so often.

You guys have stuck with me, and supported me through the good times, like all the fun parties and fashion shows. Even the bad times, like when the Diamond Shop came (^o^). Even the crazy times like when Adventures came or the time we recorded for the Sky Scenes TV Show. These memories, and many more, will forever be in my heart. (My eyes are starting to water.)
This day will go down in history as the day that Scooter Resigned. I want the Animal Jam Sky Blog to go down in history, for one of the best blogs of Animal Jam because it was one of the Best Blogs of Animal Jam! I hope God finds a great plan for your life, and remember that he is always with you. Just like Zios in Animal Jam ^-^ The Animal Jam Sky Blog was one of the best experiences of my life. It was so much fun teaching you and learning with you about Animal Jam.

DeleteOkay, so I am going to finish Blu up sometime in September, because that is when my membership runs out. When my membership runs out, then I won't be able to use Blu the Monkey (since it is a member item). So I was MAYBE thinking of starting another mini blog that features Maple the Reindeer or Chuck the wolf. Remember that is a maybe. It is just in the works.

Scooter! There is still the small Blu! You can use that! And Blu has to grow up and get married before he leaves! The nonmember Blu IS very small, but just as small as Maple. It will be harder being a nonmember plushie comic series... But I will still read it! ^.^

I saw the title and my heart sank. Aww, Scooter. :'( I've read every since post on this blog since January, without fail! I always thought you should be more famous than SnowyClaw, Julian2, etc. I have loved your witty sense of humour (and bad jokes) so much, it's gonna be hard going without them. I quit AJ a week or so ago, but I've kept on reading all the posts on here. (And I always will). I know I don't comment often and I have nothing to show for my love of this blog... I'll always remember you and your awesome blog, I won't forget your epic parties and events. I don't think any jammer will be able to top that, although many of us will keep you as our AJ role model. You spent so much time on here, updating things, typing up posts. It must've been hard work! We'll all treasure this PAWSOME blog, forever and onwards. (I'm sure Blu and his friends will miss you too.) Why don't you organise a leaving party? I'm pretty sure many a-jammer will LOVE to go and say their last goodbyes to the famous Scooter! Wow. other than that, your creativity is through the roof??like WOWZERS, you do an amazing good job with all the side tabs and blu and everything of the sort! i hope your creativity sticks with you so that you can go on and create amazing things.
PS: i would HIGHLY recommend that you keep drawing if you enjoy it. the quality of scooters sketches has been improving rapidly, and i'm willing to bet that, if you enjoy it and have the time, that you can and will become a great artist.

I loved how much effort you put into this blog! I may not have commented much, but this is where I viewed all of the daily news. I always enjoyed reading the tabs, participating in contests, and such. It really pains my heart to see you leave Animal Jam. :(
If you decide (on some miracle) not to quit, then I promise nobody will get mad at you for posting late!
(But not to ruin a happy moment, I know you are just trying to wish us all a best time and that's fine, you probably have no other way to put it, but not all viewers of the AJ sky blog are Christian. Well, my belief system is kinda weird I don't have like one solid religion. But I am not against Christians, I even agree with what they say sometimes but I just kinda follow my own beliefs.

ReplyDeleteIt's so sad that blogs close down one by one. My aunt actually plays Animal Jam. So what? I'm over 12, so is Cutepups522 (I don't want to drag her here, so let's go on). I don't see why disappoint the whole world with this kind of sadness. You may be busy, but at least post once a week or once a month or so!

Everyone is quitting I cannot find a single jammer to keep on all I find are ones that have Animal Jam to busy for their life. I am really sad your quitting. Plus I can understand why. I actually couldn't understand how you could have all the stuff that you do every day I was like WOW! He goes through about 100 comments just to see who's out everyday! Thats amazing!

I remember about a year ago Scooter appeared in Crystal Sands wanted me to be his Jammer Of The Month! I searched up his blog and it was so helpful I saw it a few times a day.

ReplyDeleteI know I didn't often comment on here, but I have been reading this blog for a while and really liked the fact you posted early and on time, and you put SO much work into the blog despite getting too old. It just shows how much of a dedicated person you are, and that's going to get you far in life. You spent so much time making new headers, you kept us hooked on the blog with advertisements and surprises, you had an organised schedule and put so much effort into Blu the monkey for all Jammers to read and enjoy. You put up with a few haters and never complained that your blog didn't get as many comments as Snowyclaw's, updated your many pages and kept working hard on the blog so all Jammers can enjoy it. This type of dedication is what we want to thank you for, and remember that Jammers like us are always going to be with you :) Not many Jammers are prepared to work so hard despite getting older, and of course you couldn't keep up with the blog anymore as you are going to move on to bigger and better things in life. I looked up Animal Jam blogs and snowyclaw's came up first.
I didn't really like it because it was always a bunch of random people writing it.

A person who was willing to EVERY DAY wake up and before going to school write about animal jam.
And they did this for I don't know how long.
And that person was you...
A person who was willing to that.
Instead of playing with friends, going to the movies, and doing other fun things in their life, THEY were willing to do this.
